Boyu Zhang

Boyu Zhang was born in China in 1990. He received the B.S. degree in Information and Computing Science from Beihang University, Beijing, China, in 2012, the Diplôme d’Ingénieur from Ecole Centrale de Pékin and the M.S. degree in Electronics Science and Technology from Beihang University, Beijing, China, in 2015.

Recently, he received the double Ph.D. degrees of Université Paris-Sud (Université Paris-Saclay) and Beihang University. The research subject is “Domain wall propagation combining Spin Transfer Torque and All Optical switching”, which is co-supervised by Prof. Dafiné Ravelosona and Prof. Weisheng Zhao. Now, he is a post-doc researcher in Institut Jean Lamour, Nancy, France, supervised by Prof. Stéphane Mangin.

His current research interests include domain wall motion in magnetic wires and SOT switching in magnetic pillars by the combined excitation of spin-polarized current and femtosecond laser.
